WHAT IS LASER TONING?

Laser Toning is a skin brightening treatment using a specialized pigment laser called Q-Switched ND:YAG laser. Laser Toning has become one of the most popular treatments over the last several years due to its quickness and effectiveness at reducing noticeable pigmentation. The device emits short bursts of laser, lasting only a few nanoseconds, to gently disperse melanin for a brighter and more even skin tone. Furthermore, compared to other treatments, risks with laser toning is lower, making it a safe and easy treatment to try.

TREATED SKIN CONDITIONS

  • Freckles
  • Brown Spots
  • Bruising
  • ABNOM
  • Uneven skin tone
  • Melasma:
Melasma refers to the brownish patches that commonly appear on the cheeks, chin, forehead, nose, and upper lip. Melasma begins as an irregular brownish flat spot before slowly spreading out. Melasma is thought to be caused by a complex interaction of a number of factors including sun-exposure genetics and hormones. Although some melasma may disappear spontaneously after menopause, melasma generally does not regress on its own and is one of the most resistant pigmentations to treat. Melasma worsens when exposed to UV radiation and some are sensitive to visible light as well.

RESULTS & BENEFITS

While the onset of treatment outcome varies from patient to patient, improvement can generally be seen after the first few sessions of repeated laser toning. The results of the treatment may be sustained with further laser toning sessions and good protection from sun exposure.
